Welcome to The London Road Dental Practice website, Our dental practice is based in Sittingbourne, Kent. We have four surgeries, which have been equipped to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, We have the most up-to-date x-ray facilities, and one surgery is on the ground-floor, accessible to wheelchairs and the infirm. Car parking is available in a public car-park only 50 yards away, and there is also unrestricted parking in the side-streets immediately opposite the Practice.
Some of our patients take the decision to stabilize their dentures - especially full lower dentures on flat gums. We work closely with a local implant surgeon to provide this service. This involves the surgical placement of 2 to 4 titanium implants into the bone of the jaw. Once the implant has attached to the bone the denture can be anchored to it. This can take anything from the day they are placed to 6 months after surgery, dependant on type and number of implants used.
