About the Business
Mike Barnett and Mike Pearson established Park Avenue Dental Practice in May 2004 and are expense-sharing partners. We are situated in Redcar, a coastal town in the North East of England, with a population of approximately 60,000.
The building itself is jointly owned by 'the Mikes' and has undergone substantial renovation since it was purchased. The building (a 100 year-old shop unit with living accommodation above) had been, amongst other things, a butchers shop and also a youth training centre. The building now extends to 1500 square feet and has 5 surgeries. Most visitors to the practice are impressed by the internal layout and feeling of spaciousness. This is in addition to the ultra modern surgeries and facilities and being fully accessible for wheelchair users.
The practice has worked hard to meet the high standards required for modern dentistry and we have been awarded the British Dental Association's 'Good Practice Scheme' for the last three years.
