Henleaze Dental Practice has been established for over 70 years. Dr Mark Haseltine purchased the practice in May 2001 following the retirement of the previous principal. Dr Susan Lavington joined the practice as an associate in June 2003.

Our aim is to provide a comprehensive range of high quality dental care as well as a full preventative programme in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. When you register as a patient a full medical history will be taken to ensure your safety. Your initial consultation will include recordings of the condition of your teeth and gums. Xrays are usually taken as it is essential to know exactly what is going on beneath the gum line and inside the teeth. Any treatment required will be discussed along with the options available. A printed, detailed treatment plan together with an estimate will be given.

A much more attractive way of repairing a tooth than silver amalgam. There are now many improved materials available that can be matched in colour to the tooth and will bond to the tooth surface. These improvements mean more durable fillings as well as a better appearance.

Mark qualified from Bristol University in 1989. He is committed to his continuing professional development and to providing the most effective solutions to every aspect of dental health. Mark encourages patients to participate fully in all aspects of their treatment planning and is happy to help with any queries or concerns you may have. Mark is a member of the British Dental Association.

Dr Susan Lavington - Dentist

Susan qualified from Bristol University in 1985 and has worked as an associate in general practice as well as at the Bristol Dental Hospital. Susan is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry and would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have about the appearance of your teeth.
