About the Business

As residents of Newcastle we want to see a bright and shining smile on the faces of all our friends and neighbours. We know very well that not all of those neighbours and friends enjoy a trip to the dentist regardless if they require a simple teeth whitening procedure or something more.

Come in and let our caring staff put you at ease in a warm and reassuring environment. Nerves will be rested as you sit in one of our relaxing chairs and our professional staff puts your comfort first. Before we start any procedure, we take the time to do what most practices neglect: talk to you. We want to make sure that every question or concern you have is addressed. Then - and only then - will we proceed.

Vital Whitening

Vital Whitening

The other form of teeth whitening is Vital whitening and is applied to the teeth, normally through a tray that looks like a mouth guard and the whitening ingredients contain hydrogen peroxide. The whitening procedure is either done at home or at your dental surgery, if the procedure is in the surgery, it has much more of a chance of greater success because your dentist has access to a much stronger whitening product and also has a professional laser that activates the whitening gel and therefore the whitening is activated quicker. The procedure takes between 30 minutes and an hour and a half and this will be over up to 3 visits. The actual number depends on how bad your discoloration is, how white you want them and the method chosen.
Non-Vital Whitening

Non-Vital Whitening

Non-vital whitening is the procedure for a tooth that has been operated on for root canal treatment. These teeth can get discoloured. As the tooth hasn’t any nerves this procedure can be done without the need to numb the gums. The difference here is the whitening agent is placed inside the tooth and covered with a filling that would be temporary. The tooth is left for a few days and monitored to see how the colour lightens. This can be repeated until it reaches the right lightness to match the other teeth.
