Dr Adeel Ali

I’ve had an innate terrifying fear of dentists all my life. I’ve had normal dental treatment previously until it was suggested that I’d benefit from implants. I didn’t know anything about dental implants at all. When I spoke to Dr. Ali, we got on very well right from the start – there was quite a rapport between us.

I’ve always wanted good teeth. But never actually having good teeth, I felt that this was the time to go ahead with it. I don’t remember feeling any great pain. I never went home and thought: “ On my goodness, I’ve been to the dentist – the anesthetic is wearing off and now I can really feel it!” I didn’t feel that at all; it just went very smoothly. I returned a couple of times for adjustments, but other than that I’ve had them in now for 18 months and I’ve not had a problem at all. It seems a funny thing to say, but it was quite an enjoyable experience. At the end of the day, I received exactly what I wanted – this made me very happy and without any regrets. I’d recommend Dr. Ali because he’s clear, concise and informative; and makes you feel at ease.

I had a bridge fitted at the top and was very pleased with Dr Ali because he was so attentive. He is a very charming fellow – he’s very caring, and thinks of all your comfort, I felt very well looked after. I was delighted with Dr Ali’s treatment and I’d recommend him to anyone because he is a very good dentist. Throughout my life, I’ve experienced many dentists. But Dr Ali is a real expert who genuinely cares – you know you’re always going to be satisfied with whatever treatment he carries out.

For many years I had been grinding my teeth, so there was a lot of worn down top teeth. Initially, I made an appointment to the surgery for a normal check-up. But it became apparent I really wanted to do something, both for cosmetic reasons and for everyday practicality. I really didn’t fancy dentures, so opted for implants. Dr Ali and his team carried out a fantastic job; it’s amazing how they do it – the team is just brilliant. I used to have a thing about dentists. I was always a bit concerned because of previous issues, and hadn’t visited a dentist properly for years. I knew I needed to act and hadn’t realised how much dental techniques have progressed. There is no pain or discomfort. Now I kick myself for not having had the treatment earlier because what these guys do is brilliant.
