Implants

A dental implant is a small titanium post which is an artificial replacement for a missing tooth root. When surgically implanted into the jaw, dental implants “fuse” with bone tissue in your jaw to form a strong support for an artificial tooth or teeth. Implants are commonly used to support a crown, a bridge or secure dentures firmly in place.

Here at Andover Smile Centre we also offer different types of implant suited to patient requirements. We also offer Mini implants, which is a popular treatment for patients with loose dentures.

In addition to the obvious replacement of missing teeth, implants can help preserve your facial structure, preventing bone deterioration and muscle sagging which occurs when teeth are missing. Dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function just like your own natural teeth.

Rachel is an experienced and capable surgeon generally using the Ankylos Dental Implant system, offering single implants to multiple implants including the “All on 4” system. We send our work to experienced ceramist, who will fabricate your crowns using the highest quality materials. We never compromise on quality and all restorations are fabricated with strength durability and aesthetics in mind. Your crowns should be indistinguishable from your surrounding natural teeth!
