Lingual Braces

The word “lingual” originates from a Latin word meaning “close to the tongue”. As a technology, lingual appliances have been around for more than 35 years and are a great option for people of any age who want the benefits of aligned teeth without the appearance of braces. Lingual braces are used to correct misaligned teeth and bite problems, using a fixed brace that is bonded to the inner side of the teeth. This enables teeth to be moved into their correct position without having the braces in plain view.

Damon Braces

Damon braces offer a new generation of treatments including Damon 3 braces, Damon Q (where brackets are smaller and more discreet) and Damon Clear braces (virtually invisible) which all produce results fast! Conventional braces have elastic ‘ties’ which cause friction and pressure. Damon braces feature a sliding mechanism over the bracket that helps to reduce this friction and any potential discomfort as teeth move.The absence of ‘ties’ also makes dental hygiene easier during treatment as they do not collect plaque.
