Last year I completed a three year postgraduate course at Bristol Dental Hospital with a focus on gum disease and restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns and bridges). During 2013, we also welcomed two new team members: Tamara Khyatta is an oral surgeon from Bristol Dental Hospital and someone I have known for 25 years. She visits our practice to remove difficult teeth with maximum skill. She can also offer intravenous sedation for the more anxious. Mr Ian Downie has also joined our team. Mr Downie is a maxillo-facial consultant at Salisbury District Hospital. He visits our practice to place dental implants. 2013 was a very busy year and it was also a landmark year for me as I have now been qualified for twenty years. Of course it seems like just yesterday that I first started in practice.
