PRGF Endoret

Thanks to advances in regenerative medicine it is now possible to use your own body’s resources to heal itself. With this technique, it’s possible to isolate, concentrate and extract growth factors with proteins which are present in ourselves to repair our tissues naturally.

100% Autologous (using your own growth factors).

Plasma rich in growth factor enables our proteins to rejuvenate our skin in a completely natural way giving a healthier appearance.
There are five key benefits of using this biotechnology to counteract degenerative changes in the skin which ultimately increase the tone and elasticity:

  • Wrinkle reduction – the filler effect achieved through the use of PRGF Endoret technology softens the wrinkles in the treated areas. The facial expression lines lose their depth similar to the way they do on with using dermal fillers.
  • Hydration – ensures a high level of skin hydration compared to levels obtained with other cosmetic treatments and has been proven in clinical trials.
  • Skin luminosity – it makes skin recover the lost luminosity over the years. Patients that have gone through this innovative treatment achieve a higher luster of the skin.
  • Production of Hyaluronic acid – it stimulates the natural production of Hyaluronic acid.
  • Increased consistency – promotes the increased secretion of collagen and elastin. This generates a greater consistency, firmness and reduces sagging in the skin of the patient.
  • Compatible with other aesthetic treatments including Botulinum toxin etc
The treatment is recommended from the age of 35 to slow the aging process, or from 45 for its regenerative and corrective effects.
Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injections used to fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin and used to increase the volume and definition of the lips and cheeks. They can also be used to correct asymmetry.

The fillers are based on hyaluronic acid (HA) this is a naturally occurring substance produced in our bodies–and the effect lasts about four to six months. HA keeps our skin hydrated and firm by its unique ability to bind water molecules it also provides support and structure to the skin. As we age the natural production of HA slows down.

At our practice, we believe that only trained professionals should carry out this procedure. Dr. Khangura will perform your procedures personally, you can be assured that you are being treated by a highly trained professional in a state of the art safe clinical environment.

We also ensure we only use the best products on the markets such as Restylane.
Wrinkle Reduction Injections

Wrinkle Reduction and Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections are medical treatments that can be used to help relax facial muscles.

This makes lines and wrinkles, such as crow’s feet and frown lines, less obvious. Other uses include reduction of a Gummy Smile and treatment of excessive sweating mostly commonly from the arm pits.

They can temporarily enhance your appearance without the need for surgery.

At our practice, we believe that only trained professionals should carry out this procedure. Dr Khangura will perform your procedures personally, you can be assured that you are being treated by a highly trained professional in a state-of-the-art safe clinical environment.

Veneers

Dr Khangura is highly experienced in providing veneers. Many patients have been referred to Dr Khangura for this treatment. These are thin porcelain/ceramic facings which are bonded to the front surface of the teeth to greatly enhance the appearance of discoloured or misshaped teeth.

Veneers have the benefit of great aesthetics with the minimum of tooth preparation. They are bonded to the tooth and are very strong. Sometimes can be placed without the need for any tooth preparation.

Veneers are:

  • A great way to improve dental aesthetics.
  • Bonded to the tooth.
  • Strong and endurable.
  • Do not discolour over time.
  • Available for discoloured and misshapen teeth.
  • Also used for smile widening.
Teeth Whitening

The Dental Surgery offers a cosmetic tooth whitening service for patients of any age. This is an effective, safe and non-invasive method of achieving the whiter smile you have always wanted. Dr. Khangura has had great results from all age groups.

Whitening is very effective in turning back time. As we get older our teeth to become darker and yellowed due to staining from the drinks and food, we all enjoy. Whitening can take away years of this discoloration within an hour. This is possible without any damage to the tooth structure. Of course, it is also very effective in making white teeth even whiter.

Cosmetic teeth whitening:

  • Is safe and non-invasive.
  • Turns back time for stained teeth.
  • Greatly improves the appearance of your teeth.
Composite Fillings

Most people have fillings of one sort or another but today, because we are much more conscious of our smile, we can choose a natural looking alternative – the composite or tooth-colored filling.

A composite resin is a tooth-colored plastic mixture filled with glass (silicon dioxide) first introduced in the 1960s. Originally only used for front teeth because of their softer nature, modern improvements to their composition make them suitable for most areas of the mouth today.

Composite fillings are more difficult to place than silver fillings so may take your dentist 15-20 minutes longer to complete and because they are a cosmetic treatment, they are not available on the NHS and must be paid for.
Cosmetic Dentistry

Today, how you look is more a matter of choice than genes and it is no different when considering your choice of smile.

We all want healthy teeth and gums, fresh breath and the confidence and comfort to choose whatever we would like to eat. But we also want to smile freely, with poise and the assurance that our smile does what it is meant to do: to present and represent us; to be an attractive and welcoming feature.

Using the latest computer imaging technology, we are now able to determine the very best cosmetic solutions, show you the potential results and allow you to choose your ideal smile. You can discuss what you don’t like about your teeth, learn about your options and receive an accurate quote for the treatment involved.

The smile you deserve is only a call away.
Dental Implants

What are Dental Implants?

Implants are one way of replacing missing teeth. A post is planted in the jaw bone to support a replacement tooth. This acts like the root of a natural tooth. Implants can also be used to support fixed bridges or dentures.

Implants can be used for:

Replacement of single or multiple teeth, either individually or two can be linked to make a bridge to support several teeth.

They also great for holding in a denture, commonly used in a case to hold a problematic lower denture in place.

Implant treatment normally has two stages. First, the implant is placed in the jaw. Then, when the jaw has healed, replacement teeth are attached to the implant. In some situations, it is possible for temporary teeth to be attached to an implant at the time of fitting.

Dental Bridge

What is a Dental Bridge?

A bridge can be used to replace one or more missing teeth – helping to restore function and look to your mouth. It is a fixed restoration which makes use of the surrounding teeth as ‘anchors’ to support a manufactured crown.

A bridge will allow you to:

  • Smile confidently.
  • Eat a wider range of foods more easily.
  • Restore definition and shape to your face.
  • Prevent movement or increased risk of decay in remaining teeth.
