Our practice is a familly practice. In particular we believe in preventative dentistry and this is best started in childhood to prevent unneccasary fillings and gum problems in later life. We offer a full range of such treatments to our children in the form of fluoride applications, fissure sealants toothbrushing instruction and other preventative methods.
Our preventative services are carried on through adulthood with visits to our hygenist to maintain your teeth and gums . In addition recent medical evidence suggests that poor oral hygiene may well have a detrimental affect to your general health including increased risk of heart disease and other disorders.
At your routine consultations we always carry out a full examination of your teeth, gums and check the rest of your mouth for other diseases of the mouth including mouth cancer, a disease which is unfortunately on the increase. We will discuss with you our findings and show you any issues using our latest digital oral camera and x-ray machines.
